Each SheIsMe Land Stewardship Center is held by a cooperative corporation that owns the land, the buildings, and any underlying mortgage. You invest in a specific property by purchasing shares in that corporation. Those shares give you the right to live at that center — not as a tenant, not as a title holder, but as a shareholder in the entity that owns it. The right to live there comes with the shares. It is not separate from them.
